Residents invited to discuss Adams State neighborhood issues

ALAMOSA — The City of Alamosa will hold two public meetings to discuss parking issues and challenges in the College Subdivision and on Edgemont Boulevard near the Adams State University campus.

City staff has been working with residents regarding these concerns and have a possible solution. Staff would like to meet with residents residing in this area specifically those living on Monterey Avenue, Sierra Avenue, El Camino Drive, El Rio Drive, and Edgemont Boulevard. It is important that residents and property owners in this area attend and provide input.

For convenience, there will be two meetings – May 7th and May 8th at 5:30 p.m. at the Alamosa City Hall council chambers at 300 Hunt Avenue. Each meeting will cover the same information so interested residents can pick which date works best for them.

Those who are unable to attend either meeting may contact Chief of Police Duane Oakes at 719-589-2548 or [email protected].
