Residents rein in holiday spirit at Rudolph Run

ALAMOSA — Saturday evening the Round-UP Rudolph Run 5k got the starting gun at Cole Park. Runners ranged from serious distance runners and 5k enthusiasts to whole families looking to get out and about in fun and exciting costumes.

A bitter wind didn't deter people from getting a good hard run in and looking great while doing it. With different classes for the runners each class winner took home different awards making for a great new activity for Valley residents during the holiday season.

Caleb Berlingel re-enters the park via the walking bridge. Berlingel finished first overall with a time of 19:19.

Finishing 6th among the women Mandy Wilner draws motivation from her family as she nears the finish line. Wilner finished the run with a time of 28:52.
