Richard “Dick” Doyle was born June 2, 1951, in Fort Collins, Colo., to Anne and Don Doyle. The Doyle family moved to the San Luis Valley in 1953 where Dick remained for most of his life until Sept. 2023 when he moved to Leesburg, Va., to reside with his son and family. Dick passed away March 9, 2024, in a Leesburg hospital from complications of respiratory issues. His son was by his side.

Preceding him in death in 2008 were his parents Don and Anne Doyle.

He is survived by his son Jamie (Tracy) and their three sons; his daughter Kyla (Dana) Eastabrooks; his four siblings David Doyle, Dianne Machado, Dana (Kenny) Smith from the San Luis Valley, and Deb (Lynn) Christensen from Loma, Colo.; his ex-wife Kate and her son Ross, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends.
