Center resident Richard Jerry Espinosa, 63, passed away on November 7, 2022.  He was born on May 1, 1959, in Monte Vista, Colorado to Henry Espinosa and Mary Ellen (Perea) Gomez.  Richard enjoyed watching the Broncos and spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.  In his younger years, he loved fishing and being outdoors.

Richard is survived by his children, Desi (Falisha Salazar) Espinosa and Danielle Espinosa, his grandchildren, Alijah Montoya, Reshawn Aguilar, Analisa Aguilar, Desirae Espinosa, Aniyah Espinosa, Destiny Espinosa, Z’Anne Espinosa and Zane Espinosa, his great-grandchildren, Xavier Montoya and Deiona Raye Montoya, his mother Mary Ellen (Efrain) Gomez, his siblings, Larry (Maria) Espinosa and Paul Gomez as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his father, his brothers, Johnny Espinosa and Bobby Espinosa, and his sister Sharon Espinosa.

Cremation was selected and a memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022, at  St. Francis Jerome Catholic Church in Center.  To express condolences, please visit www.rogersfunerals .com
