Born in Manassa, Colo., Richard loved the San Luis Valley and his large family there. He was happiest above timberline, skiing, climbing, running and driving a Porsche a little too fast. He was committed to the AA community at York Street.

Most of all he loved his daughter Jean, her husband Brian, his grandson James, and he had just met baby Jacqueline.
