Roadside maintenance begins

CENTER — The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be performing roadside maintenance operations along Colorado Highway (CO) 112, near the community of Center. Motorists are urged to use caution while driving in the area and be aware of maintenance workers and heavy equipment on and along the roadway for about two weeks beginning immediately after the Labor Day holiday weekend.

HIGHWAY TRAVEL IMPACTS: Beginning Tuesday, September 5, motorists will encounter traffic stops and brief delays on a four mile stretch of CO 112, from mile point (MP) 16 to MP 20, in and near the community of Center. The traffic stops will allow crews the opportunity to perform ditch cleaning on the south side of the highway. Motorists will also encounter a speed reduction of 40 MPH in the work zone. The maintenance operations are expected to be completed by Friday, September 15.
