A Final Salute was given to Robert “Adolph” Taylor Jr. who passed away peacefully at the Veterans Hospital in Aurora, CO, on July 29, 2021.
While in the U.S Army, Adolph was stationed in Seoul, Korea, Oahu, HI, Fort Polk, LA, and served in Desert Storm, the Panama Conflict, and later in the Army National Guard Reserves. His military travels opened his eyes to new places and he enjoyed traveling to new places with Becky, riding his Harley Davidson, watching the Denver Broncos.
He is survived by his parents Robert and Orlinda Taylor, who he affectionately nicknamed Amos and Andy from Antonito, CO. Becky Romero his partner from Littleton, CO; daughter Brittany Taylor Ruybal, and grandson Adrian Montoya from Littleton.
He leaves behind sisters, Jackie Taylor (Michael Farrington), Roberta Taylor-Hill (Ken Hill) from Alamosa, CO, and sister-in-law Lorraine Garcia from Mogote, CO.
Becky’s children Matt Lara, Brenda (Tom) Roberts, grandchildren, Mark (Andrew), Nick, Brooke, and great-grandson Shiloh.
Uncle to Lynn Taylor, Lisa (Dom) Khoketkham, Mike (Heidi) Ruybal; Laura Garcia, Devin (David) Touchton; Matt Garcia, Nicole Ruybal, Bryan Ruybal (Kristi Martinez).
Adolph was preceded in death by his brother Richard Garcia, nephew Wayne Lopez Jr., Grandma Sofia M. Garcia, Grandpa Anastacio Taylor, Emma Romero (Becky’s mom who passed away on August 27, 2021), and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial services will be August 28, 2021 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Conejos, CO.
Rosary will be at 11:30 am and Memorial Services will be at 12:00 pm.

Final memorial services will be at 12:30 pm, August 31, 2021 at the Light of the World Catholic Church, 10316 W. Bowles Ave, Littleton, CO, 80127.
