Robert Marquez 56, passed away on December 22, 2021, in Colorado springs Colorado with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Alamosa, to Miguel Marquez and Rosine Martinez.

Robert enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed four wheeling, snowmobiling, softball and most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family

He is survived by his soulmate in life of 43 years, his wife Annette Atencio, daughter Rafelita Atencio (Mike Ortega),sonAantOrtega, grand children: Kayleigh Ortega&JazlynnOrtega. His sisters: Sherry

Jurado (Michael Jurado) of Arizona, Gina Marquez of Arizona, brothers: David Marquez of Arizona and Freddy Martinez (Daisy Martinez) of Monte Vista. He is also survived by many god children, nieces, nephews and many other family members. his legacy

and memory will live on through all those that loved him dearly.

Robert is proceeded in death and welcomed into heaven by his father Marquez,hismotherRosine and his grandparents.

Cremation was chosen per his request and a celebration of life, in Robert’s honor will be held on January 3, 2022, 10:00 am, at Strohmayer’s funeral home 205 south Broadway street, monte vista, co.

Inurnment will follow at workers union cemetery.
