Robert Ruybal

Alamosa resident Robert Ruybal Sr., 79, went to sleep in death in his home on June 24, 2018. Robert was born August 27, 1939 at Conejos Ranch to Joe Roger Ruybal and Rubustina Dupont Ruybal. He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1983. Robert loved Jehovah with all of his heart and his number one priority was to teach others about Jehovah. John 14:21. He fell asleep knowing that he will be resurrected in perfect health in a beautiful paradise here on earth as it is promised in the Bible — John 5:28 & 29 — (“The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.”)

Robert is survived by his wife Cordy Ruybal and his daughters Roberta Martinez (Ben), Tammy Ruybal and Jackie Ruybal (Terry) Cunningham, his sons Roberto Ruybal Jr., and Ricky Raymond Ruybal.

Robert took special care of two of his grandsons, Don Jacob Ruybal and Corey James Ruybal who were more like sons to him and taught them about Jehovah as well. He is also survived by 8 more grandkids, Roger Jr. and Rick Romero (Tammy), Lenny, Luke, Michael and Keith Martinez (Roberta), Mikayla Ruybal (Roberto), Dagny Ruybal (Rick), 6 great grandchildren and stepchildren Rory, Chris, Tracy, Renee and Jason. Survived also by siblings, Arthur Ruybal, Sr., Ann Ruybal Stewart, Pauline Ruybal Duran, and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Lawrence Ruybal, Freddie Ruybal, Lee Ruybal, Leona Lucero and Margaret Arellano.

His services will be at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at 1:00 p.m., 10922 E. Hwy 160, Alamosa. Memorial service talk will be given by Don Jacob Ruybal.
