ALAMOSA — The Alamosa Rotary Club is pleased to announce that Jane Rhett of the Homelake Foundation will be the speaker on Monday, November 20, at noon at Juanito’s Restaurant, 1019 Sixth Street in Alamosa.

The Homelake Foundation was established in 1984 with the goal of preserving and restoring the Colorado State Veterans Community Living Center (VCLC) at Homelake.  Over the past 128 years Homelake has been home to more than 4,000 service veterans, their spouses and Gold Star parents. Come learn about the incredible story of Homelake and its unique place in our state’s and nation’s history.
