Rotary program features Alamosa Police Chief Ken Anderson

ALAMOSA — The Alamosa Rotary Club is pleased to announce that Alamosa Police Chief Ken Anderson will give a presentation at the meeting on Monday, January 28 at noon at Juanito’s Restaurant, 1019 6th Street. 

Chief Anderson will speak about several ongoing programs at the APD including the first year’s outcomes of the LEAD or Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion program. LEAD is a diversion program operated by the Center for Restorative Programs (CRP) through a grant awarded the City of Alamosa. Participants are referred to the CRP by Alamosa police officers. LEAD offers a variety of services to help keep people out of the court system.
