Round-UP goes pink Friday

The Alamosa Round-UP presented SLV Health representatives with a $5,000 donation to the new cancer center Friday night, which was Round UP a Cure Night at the rodeo. Wrangler Jeans also pitched in $2,500, and area residents so far have donated $3,000 during the rodeo to help "give cancer the boot." More donations will be accepted at the demolition derby tonight.

Jerry Honeycutt is tough enough to wear pink Friday during the Round-UP a Cure Night. 

Rodeo clown John Harrison, dressed as "Miss Rodeo," asks if the announcer wants the first dance after the rodeo.

Bronc riding provided exciting rodeo action  Friday night at the Alamosa Round-UP PRCA Rodeo. Events continue with the demolition derby today and ATV rodeo Sunday.

As part of what has become an annual tradition with the Alamosa Round-UP, the Friday night PRCA Rodeo took time to honor members of the National Guard for their service and dedication.

Barrel racing was part of Friday night's exciting action at the Alamosa Round-UP.
