SAGUACHE COUNTY — It has been more than a month since Edna Quintana was last seen, and both the Saguache County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) are asking for the public’s help in locating the woman.

Quintana, who is 55 years old, was last seen in the town of Saguache on May 3. CBI issued an endangered missing alert for Quintana on May 17.

An endangered missing alert is issued when a missing person is in danger of serious harm due to age, health, disability, environment, or the company of a potentially dangerous person.

At that time, Saguache County Search and Rescue stated Quintana may be missing in the mountains surrounding the town of Saguache. She is also known to have acquaintances in Center, a town 23 miles south of Saguache.

Quintana is described as a Hispanic female, about 5 feet and 4 inches tall, weighing around 110 to 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

"We encourage the use of the tipline to provide information about Edna Quintana,” said Saguache County Sheriff Dan Warwick. “Someone has that key piece of information that will help us locate Edna."

Anyone who might have information is asked to call the CBI tipline at 719-416-5815 or the Saguache County Sheriff’s Office at 719-655-2525.
