PUEBLO — Former Alamosa residents Don and Teresa Sales will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on August 24th. 

They were married in Sheridan, Wyoming on Aug. 24, 1952. They served in the ministry for many years in numerous locations including the San Luis Valley. Pastor Sales served the Seventh-day Adventist Churches in the Valley, and Teresa Sales was a journalist at the Monte Vista Journal and Valley Courier.

They are celebrating their anniversary with their daughters, Beth (Kevin) Wilkins of Denver, Ruth Heide of Alamosa and Kristi (Tom) Gardner of Littleton in Pueblo, where they now reside.
