San Luis Valley Federal Bank hires new loan officer

VALLEY — Eric Martinez has been hired by San Luis Valley Federal Bank as a loan officer (NMLS 1774290) to assist bank members with all their mortgage and personal loan needs.  He is located at the bank’s Monte Vista branch. Prior to starting with the SLV Federal, Eric worked for Sunflower Bank as a consumer loan officer.

He is a Valley native and grew up in Ft. Garland. He attended Adams State and graduated in 2017 with a bachelor of science degree majoring in banking and finance with a minor in accounting. While attending ASU, Eric worked in the family business at Del’s diner in Ft. Garland.  He also served as a mentor and student leader in the Summer Migrant Youth Leadership Institute for several summers.
