MOSCA — On August 30 the Sangre de Cristo FBLA chapter officially installed their 2018-2019 officers and inducted their members.
The District 8 Vice President Kendra Sears attended to conduct the official ceremony.
The new officer team includes Reporter Avery Palmgren, Treasurer Kevin Enriquez, Secretary Makenzie Rogers, Vice President Zeb Stephens and President Alyssa Mortensen. Additional special guest in attendance was Sangre de Cristo Athletic Director Dave Curtis.
Following the induction of the new officers, Sangre held an emblem ceremony honoring and explaining what the FBLA emblem stands for and the mission of FBLA. After the induction and emblem ceremony, the first chapter meeting was held.
Other activities the Sangre FBLA chapter has been a part of thus far include an officer retreat, co-sponsoring a Back to School Bash with the Sangre de Cristo Student Council, and community service of cleaning a two-mile stretch of Highway 17.
