Longtime valley resident Sara Terese Ulibarri, 44, passed away on March 21, 2021.  She was born on October 21, 1976 in Alamosa, Colorado to Lorenzo Ulibarri and Genevieve (Valdez) Rodriguez.  Sara was a 1997 graduate of Alamosa High School.  She enjoyed fishing, speaking her mind and had a huge heart.  She truly loved spending time with her family and friends.  She especially cherished the staff at Blue Peaks that took such special care of her.

She is survived by her father Lorenzo Ulibarri of Olney Springs, Colorado, her mother and step father Genevieve and Kenneth Rodriguez of Arizona City, Arizona, her siblings, Aline (Rich) Oliver and Celene Ulibarri, her nieces and nephews, Taylor Oliver, Alexandra Oliver, Emilio Ulibarri, Aujolique Ulibarri, Amery Ulibarri, Emery Ulibarri and Ellie Ulibarri as well as her longtime friend Tommy.

Sara was preceded in death by her brother Steven Ulibarri.
