Youngsters, enjoyed a winter themed nature scavenger hunt at the Alamosa City Ranch on Thursday, thanks to the Alamosa Parks and Recreation Department, which supplied materials to help participants explore their natural surroundings. The scavenger hunt began at the Alamosa Disc Golf Course parking lot and concluded with a hot dog roast over a campfire. The list for the hunt included such items as rocks, sticks, birds, clouds and snow angels.
