ALAMOSA — The annual Bag and Box Sale at Spines will be Saturday, October 7th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Each year the Friends of the Alamosa Public Library clears their shelves of books and music CDs with this sale to make room for newer donations gathered over the winter. Prices will be $5 for a plastic grocery bag, $8 for a personal tote bag, and $12 per medium box. Fill one or more containers.

Friends will also sponsor a November Sale at City Hall on November 4th to pick up new or pristine used books suitable for gift-giving, and then watch for announcements of donation days that occur from January until May.
