DEL NORTE — Two of four defendants in a South Fork child sex assault case are scheduled for first appearances in court on September 20 and a third is scheduled for motions hearing on October 5.

Mario Dominguez, 26, and Cristal Middleton, 21, both have court dates on the morning of September 20, and Helen Price, 56, is scheduled for motions on October 5.

A fourth defendant Victor White, 56, hung himself in jail this summer.

The four defendants faced multiple charges related to the alleged ongoing sexual assault of an 8-year-old girl at an apartment complex in South Fork dating back to late 2015.

The defendants were arrested this spring following multi-agency investigation including the South Fork Police Department, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, the 12th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Alamosa Police Department and the Monte Vista Police Department.
