Sharon "Nadine" Smith, 72

Nadine was born in Pueblo, Colorado March 28th, 1945 to Billy and Betty Templeman. Nadine grew up in Walsenburg where she visited her grandmother Templeman regularly. Nadine graduated from Pueblo High School in 1963. In 1965 she moved to Blanca, Colorado to raise her family with Bobby, Lyle, and Freda Smith on the family farm. In 1988 she moved to Alamosa and began a career with the Bureau of Reclamation in 1989. Nadine retired from the Bureau in 2013 and moved to live near her daughters in northern Colorado.  Nadine passed away at home, peacefully in her sleep in the morning of April 3rd, 2017.

Nadine loved to work in her yard, sew, crochet, do needlework, and spend time with her grandchildren. She taught lots of 4-H classes on sewing, and hosted many a wayward teenage sole at her home in the ‘80s.
Nadine was a born again Christian and is joining her brother Leonard Templeman, mother Betty Templeman, and father Billy Templeman in heaven.

Nadine is survived by dog Trini, her daughters, Tina Baldwin of Fort Collins, Tonya (Dan) Spencer of Loveland, and her son, Theldon (Donna) Smith of Blanca. She is survived by grandchildren, Zack Baldwin, Austin Baldwin, Keri (Dale) Fransen, Trenton (Melissa) Smith, and Tiffany Smith, two step-grandchildren, Devin and Jenna Spencer and three great-grandchildren. Nadine is also survived by brothers and sisters Thomas (Marka) Templeman of Eaton, Harriet (Glen) Gibson of Greeley, Marshall (Kathy) Templeman of Miliken, Dale (Rhonda) Templeman of Evans, Gloria (Ryan) Idler of Greeley, and Glenda (Roy) Lee of Colorado Springs.

A celebration of life will be held at the Living Water Bible Fellowship in Alamosa on Friday April 7th, 2017 at 3:00 p.m.
