ALAMOSA — The Alamosa Police Officer and adult male shooting victim from Thursday’s shooting near the 1200 block of Denver Avenue have been identified per a press release issued by the City of Alamosa on Monday.

Mollee Heeney, 25, is a two-year veteran of the Alamosa Police Department. She underwent surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.

Ricardo Rangel, 41, also underwent surgery and is in stable condition.

Two juvenile suspects were arrested at the time of the incident and they remain in custody.

The investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and the Alamosa Police Department.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
