ALAMOSA – The Sierra Grande Veteran’s Day 5k run will take place on Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. at Veteran’s Park in Fort Garland.
All participants can register before the race. The cost is $25 for adults and $15 for senior citizens and students.
To get to Veteran’s Park, go to Fort Garland on Route 160, and go south on Highway 159. Cross over the railroad tracks and take an immediate left onto Ice House Road. From there got about a half mile and Veteran’s Park will be located on the left.
T-shirts will be mailed to all participants.
