The public is welcome to virtually join the celebration of the new helicopter addition to the emergency response for the San Luis Valley.  Eagle Air Med will devote the A-Star, a helicopter designed especially for flying in high altitude, to the rooftop of SLV Health’s Regional Medical Center in Alamosa for service to the entire valley.  The event will take place on SLV Health’s Facebook Page on Tuesday, September 15, at 1:00 p.m.
