SLV Federal names new Chief Financial Officer

ALAMOSA — Joelle Boos of Alamosa, who has worked at the bank for 25 years, most recently as Vice President of Commercial Lending, will succeed long-time Chief Financial Officer Kellie Veneman, who recently retired from the bank.

“Joelle has done an outstanding job for the bank in a variety of roles over the years, and we are confident she will follow in Kellie’s footsteps to ensure the bank’s financial affairs are managed with the highest degree of professionalism, said bank CEO, Duane Bussey. We look forward to the contributions she will make as a member of the bank’s senior leadership team.”

Joelle began her career at the bank as a part-time Installment Loan Secretary in 1995, then worked as a teller, loan processor, mortgage, consumer and commercial loan officer. She was promoted to Vice President of Commercial Lending in 2014, the position she held until her move to the CFO position.

She is a native of Alamosa and resides here with her two children Kayla and Zavier. She received both her Bachelor of Science in Management and MBA in Leadership from Adams State University. She has been active in a variety of community organizations and events, including Alamosa Kids Wrestling, the Alamosa Wrestling Foundation, the Early Iron Club, the Alamosa Optimist Club, and the Cattails Golf Board.
