SLV Painters ‘On the Wing’ now showing at Milagros

ALAMOSA — Colorful paintings that celebrate spring highlight “On the Wing”, a new show by the San Luis Valley Painters group displayed all month at Milagros Coffee House on the corner of State and Main streets in Alamosa.

Spring is in the air and these paintings feature Colorado birds and wildlife by 15 artists, working at all levels. The artists are: Theresa Atencio, Yvon Boss, Dee Bartee, June McDaniel, Barbara Rayburn, Lara M. Demlo, Coni Grant, Judith Greenwood, Richard Luckemeier, David Roepke, Bill Madrill, Josie Ulibari, Margaret Jones, Linda Droeger, and Kari Christoferson.

Please join the SLV Painters in celebration of their “On the Wing” show at a reception on Sunday, March 18th, from 1- 3 p.m. at Milagros, corner of State and Main streets in Alamosa. Refreshments will be provided and there will be an award for the Best in Show painting.

All work on display is for sale with 15 percent of the purchase price donated to LaPuente services that support the San Luis Valley. The “On the Wing” show will continue through the end of March.

The SLV Painters group is an association of artists who have painted with Coni Grant in painting classes at the Alamosa Family Recreation Center.
