ALAMOSA — On Saturday, August 18, SLV Swap is hosting a Bag Sale Fundraiser to assist with the purchase of clothing racks to assist in clothing distribution. Shoppers will choose the clothes they want from mostly women’s items such as tops, bottoms, sweaters (including some ugly Christmas sweaters), and a few men’s and kids’ clothes. Whatever they can fit into one bag costs $5. There will also be free with purchase shoes and kids/baby gear such as strollers, swings, and bathtubs.  The Bag Sale begins at 9 a.m. and ends at noon with new deals throughout the day.  Please contact, Mandy Pittman on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/slvswapit/) or via e-mail at [email protected].  The group is not accepting new donations for this event as they have partnered with Birdie’s Boutique on Bell Avenue for a wonderful selection of clothes and shoes.
