ALAMOSA -- Spines will hold the June sale of used books, audio book CDs and DVDs on June 5th, 9 am to 2 pm, to benefit the Friends of the Alamosa Library. Spines is located off the alley north of the Alamosa post office and west of the Cole Park skateboard arena.

In June, science fiction and western fiction will be half price. Pamphlets, magazines, and oddities will be on the Free Table. Patrons may get a 20% discount on purchases by becoming a Friend of the Library. We are proud to report that income from the May sale hit record heights, in addition to a $100 donation from a devoted Friend. Proceeds benefit the Alamosa library and literacy efforts in the county.
