TAOS, N.M. — Taos School of Music’s 19 young artists close their performance season on Sunday, Aug. 5, 7:30 pm, Taos Community Auditorium, with a concert of challenging and revered string pieces.

“This concert is designed to showcase the technical finesse our Young Artists have spent their summer on the mountain mastering,” says Kathleen Anderson, executive director of Taos School of Music.

The program includes Beethoven’s String Quartet in E Flat Major, Op. 74; Schumann Piano Trio No. 3 in G minor, Op. 110; and Shostakovich String Quartet No. 3 in F Major, Op. 73.

Tickets are $10 online, at the box office before the show, or at  Mudd ‘N Flood, 103 A Bent St., Taos.
