The Three Amigos to perform at Society Hall

ALAMOSA — Three of the most popular and talked about Texas singer-songwriters around are coming back to Society Hall – Drew Kennedy, Josh Grider, and Walk Wilkins, aka the Three Amigos! Alamosa audiences may remember them as half of the Traveling Red River Songwriters, who have performed at Society Hall the last two winters. Society Hall is thrilled to welcome them back Saturday, July 14th, at 7:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door and are available at the Green Spot in Alamosa, or online at www.societyhall.org.

Drew, Josh and Walt are indeed good friends, as well as being powerhouse performers and writers individually, and decided to combine forces for a “Three Amigos” tour through the great American west. Drew and Josh both have widely acclaimed new albums just out (“At Home in the Big Lonesome”, and “Good People”, respectively, and Walt continues to be one of the best-loved and most active performers and record producers in the vibrant Texas music scene, with many of his evocative and moving songs covered by other artists.

“If you like great songwriting and compelling performers, don’t miss this show,” remarked Society Hall board member and musician Don Richmond. “These guys are so good individually, it’s hard to imagine how they could be better, until you put the three of them together – then some magical synergy happens -  I can’t wait.”
