At roughly 11:30 p.m. Thursday, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Main and Market streets for a two-vehicle accident. The at-fault vehicle was traveling south on Market Street, and as it pulled out onto Main Street it failed to yield the right-of-way to westbound traffic. The offending vehicle was struck on the driver’s side, causing extreme damage. The other vehicle sustained moderate damage to the front end. Both drivers were treated by emergency medical services at the scene. There were no serious injuries. The driver of the at-fault vehicle was Gabino Jose-Francisco, 18, Alamosa. The other vehicle was driven by Robert Martinez from Monte Vista.
