ALAMOSA — Join SLV Trout Unlimited for our annual “Flies and Lies” holiday gathering to tie flies and tell lies (oops, we mean stories - fisherfolks never misrepresent the truth) at 7 p.m. on Tuesday November 27.

This is our annual informal meeting and anyone is welcome to come tie flies or just watch and visit. Bring your tools and materials (and a lamp and extension cord if needed) and show others your favorite patterns, or just come to share a fishing tale and maybe pick up or share a tip or two on fly tying. 

You are also welcome to bring holiday treats but not required. 

New this year is our location for this event - Square Peg Brewerks at 625 Main Street in Alamosa. Enjoy a tasty beer or two from this award-winning local brewery while you tie and lie/talk.
