ALAMOSA – Two individuals have been arrested on multiple drug charges following narcotics operations at two Alamosa residences April 28 and 29.

Gary Quintana, 43, Alamosa, and Roger Reyes, 38, Monte Vista, were taken into custody after search warrants were served at 903 11th Street and 1516 West 6th Street. Alamosa Police Department (APD) was assisted by Colorado State Patrol, Alamosa County Sheriff’s Office, DEA and ATF in conducting the narcotics operations.

Detectives with APD obtained search warrants for both residences and during the execution officers located heroin, methamphetamine and cocaine, seizing approximately 1 ½ pounds of heroin, one pound of meth, 63 grams of cocaine and approximately $25,000 in U.S. currency. Also discovered were items used to distribute narcotics and one firearm.

Based on the items located by detectives it is alleged that both Quintana and Reyes were distributing narcotics at the two residences.

A press release from APD said, “These operations could not be done without the assistance and cooperation from our community. If you suspect illegal activity occurring within your neighborhood, you are encouraged to contact our investigations division or leave an anonymous tip through our city website.”
