ALAMOSA – The unofficial draw for the 2022 Cinch National High School Finals Rodeo was announced earlier this week.

Two Alamosa high school cowboys qualified for this year’s NHSFR which will take place July 17-23 at the Camplex Event Center in Gillette, Wyo.

Sam Laske will compete in bull riding. His first run will be in the evening performance on July 17 and his second will be in the morning session on July 23.

Cayden Schulz qualified in steer wrestling. He will first perform in the evening session on July 19 and his second run is in the morning performance on July 21.

The top 15 performers in each event will return for the championship short go in the evening of July 23.
