Valley Human League seeking volunteers

VALLEY — The Valley Humane League (VHL) is a non-profit, community-based organization that serves the needs of at-risk animals. Its mission is to protect, shelter and re-home companion animals in loving, responsible, committed, and permanent homes by promoting healthy relationships between pets, people, and our communities.

VHL would like to expand and strengthen its volunteer program. Volunteers are critical to the success of VHL, and are necessary for a multitude of activities. Some examples of where volunteers are needed are to help with periodic community dog adoption events, walk dogs at the shelter, serve on committees, serve as volunteer coordinator, create and maintain a mailing list, organize fund-raising events, and more. VHL can’t pay its volunteers or board members, but it can create a fun and rewarding environment in which to work!
