This letter on behalf of the Valley Humane League is to thank the Dumb Friends League for theiir $2.5 million investment into the San Luis Valley for a dream-come-true facility! We were so excited to partner with the League as they evaluated the Valley partnerships for this type of facility that will do so much for homeless and abandoned pets. Not only has the Dumb Friends
League made such a large up-front investment for our pets, but their on-going commitment to fund the operations of the facility is humbling. We also thank Alamosa County and the City of
Alamosa for their continued partnerships and responsible funding for those lost pets brought to the facility from their jurisdictions. And thanks to our wonderful community for their financial support these past several years. Your donations helped feed the animals and keep the lights on. We will continue to have fundraisers to do our community support of the facility. The Dumb
Friends League and Valley Humane League are a non-profit and all donations are tax deductible. This project would not have been possible without so many Valley partners and we look forward to it growing with more counties and towns!
Sincerely, Diana Hamilton, President, Valley Humane League
