Valley Spring All-Conference members named

SAN LUIS VALLEY — The Spring prep sport season has drawn to a close with schools naming their All-Conference athletes. In addition to the Alamosa athletes recognized all week, stand-outs from other respective conferences included the likes of Ryan Davis of Sargent and Brady Lenz of Sanford.

Davis was named 'Player of the Year' for the 2A Southern Peaks League. The Sargent senior finished his season with a .500 on base percentage where he stole a team leading 30 bases. As the hurler Davis picked up seven wins with a 2.84 ERA.
At Sanford Lenz was named the ‘Male Athlete of the Year’. At this year’s State Meet in Jeffco Stadium Lenz qualified for three different jumping events. The Sanford senior took the 2A state title in the Triple Jump with a distance of 43’ 2.5”. Below is a more complete list of Spring competitors
