Vitalia Martinez Romero went to meet her creator on Sept. 2, 2023. She was born on Oct. 6, 1929, in Guadalupita, N.M., to Precilliano and Elisa Bernal.

Vitalia loved fishing, dancing, gambling, spending time with family and she always had a smile on her face. Tia you will be greatly missed your smile was contagious and we will miss the way it lit up every room you entered.

Vitalia is survived by her loving husband Arturo Felix from Saguache, niece Regina Lucero, nephew Emilio Lucero, nephew Robert and wife Crystal Medina, and daughters Arlene and Judy Martinez from Rawlins, Wyoming.

Celebration of Life will be at Strohmayer Funeral Home in Monte Vista, Colo., at 1 p.m. on Sept. 16, 2023.
