Volunteers serve at Alamosa's 9Health Fair

The line of 9Health Fair participants snakes around the halls of the Alamosa County building. Over 525 participants attended the annual fair Friday morning for a variety of blood tests, vision tests and to have blood pressure, height and weight checked.

Volunteer phlebotomist Faye Brown draws blood from Marjorie Yohn at the 9Health Fair on Friday. There were 14 phlebotomist stations and nursing students from Adams State University and Trinidad State Junior College also assisted. Participants get their results back in two-to-four weeks.
