Winds and percussion concert is set to take place March 8

ALAMOSA – The Adams State University Winds and Percussion Ensemble will welcome Dr. Tracy Doyle, professor of music, who will solo during the performance. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 8, in the Richardson Hall Auditorium.

The performance is the kick-off event for the Adams State Top of the Nation Honor Band, which will host over 150 high school instrumentalists from Colorado and Texas. The concert will feature some of Adams State chamber ensembles in addition to large works for the full band. The performance will end with a collaborative work performed with the Chamber Choir.
