Cancer patients needed for local research

VALLEY — San Luis Valley Health and Adams State University are seeking cancer patients (survivors and currently diagnosed) to participate in the study of impact of exercise. ASU and the SLV Regional Hospital have a few spots left for individuals interested in possibly being a part of a 10-week intervention group.

The benefits include low impact sports and fitness activities with a graduate student from Adams State University; free monthly membership to the Alamosa Recreation Center, courtesy of SLV Health; and fitness testing before and after the program.
