SLV Health employees honored 

Recognition for 10 to 35 years of service

ALAMOSA — The SLV Health annual Years of Service banquet took place at Adams State University in August. Honorees who marked their 10- through 35-year anniversaries were invited to dinner with a guest. 

Senior team members, board members, directors, and supervisors were also present to honor the dedication and loyalty of these employees. Celebrating at their staff meetings were 36 employees who marked their 5-year anniversary as employed by SLV Health. 

The employees who marked ten years of service were Anthony Cantello, Becky Daniels, Bethany Stroh, Bryan Garcia, Cherise Minnick, Courtney Dye, Donna Wehe, Dr. Carmelo Hernandez, Dwane Candy, Jamie King, Mark Gallegos, Michaela Martinez-Pace, Monica Hinds, Nina Crawford, and Stephanie Posorske, CNM. 

Celebrating their fifteenth anniversary were: Barbara Samora, Celia Ramirez-Reyes, Kathy Romero, Kimberly Pooler, Kristy Dunn, Kyle Crawford, Lennie Martinez, Mark Anaya, Michele Mascarenas, Roberta Gilleland, Robyn Williams, Terese Sowards, and Tony Chamberlain. 

Marking their 20 years at SLV Health were AnnaRae Martinez, Autumn Moore, Brandon Cantu, Elizabeth Ingal, Elizabeth Lucero, Gloria Medina, Jim Frye, Lorena Peterson, and Michael Espinosa. 

Clista Brown (Ortho), Geraldine Trujillo (Patient Accounting), Loretta DeHerrera (Pharmacy), and Melanie Archuleta (CCH Acute) marked 25 years of service. 

There were many highlights including celebrating Jeanette Martinez (Administration) with 30 years and Brenda Marchildon (Emergency) with 35 years of service as a registered nurse! 

CEO Konnie Martin welcomed the guests, honorees, board members, and the recipients’ supervisors.  Karla Hardesty, SLVH Board Chair, started the night with a prayer and a greeting, "I am honored to celebrate every single one of you who have stayed loyal to make SLV Health all that it is.” 

Keynote speaker Dr. Carla Christ shared her story of when she started her career at SLV Health, mentioning how welcoming the people were and how special they still are. “These years of experience are evident in the way you go above and beyond to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care. Your compassion and tireless effort do not go unnoticed, and I want you to know how profoundly grateful we are for your hard work.” 

Master of Ceremonies Tom Masterson announced the recipients while Konnie Masterson, CEO, and Karla Hardesty, SLVH Board Chair, presented everyone with their awards.  

SLV Health is honored to have such devoted employees who reflect a caring culture and a dedicated workforce to patient care.
