Betty Curtis-Thorpe, 88, Alamosa, passed away on March 6, 2018, at the Alamosa hospital. She was born September 1, 1929, in Springfield, Colorado, to Rollin and Helen Luntey.

She was raised in Colorado and enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing and also enjoyed reading and crafts.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Curtis of Hooper, Colorado and Rusty (Judy) Curtis of South Fork, Colorado; also survived by Doug (Susan) Thorpe of Albuquerque, N.M., and Gloria (Orlando) Mestas of LaSalle, Colo.; grandchildren Heather, Bill, John, Jordon, Sammie, Jennifer and Sean; great grandchildren Shelby, Quentin, Tyler, Josie, Angel Emily, Ciarah, Whitney, Aaron and Kate; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husbands George Curtis and Gene Thorpe; her parents Rollin and Helen Luntey; sister Elnora; daughter Shelly and a grandchild Kyle.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the Hooper Baptist Church.
