LEXINGTON, Ky. — Budd Osmon, 83, husband to Doris Whiteley Osmon, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2019 in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born in Grafton, North Dakota on July 15, 1936 to the late Walter and Margaret Anderson Whitson.

Budd spent the early part of his career as a PGA golf professional in Northern California. He later relocated to Colorado and was self-employed as a general contractor until he retired. He loved golf, especially teaching and volunteering with junior golf.
Along with his wife Doris, of 43 years, Budd is survived by sons, John (Christy) Osmon of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jesse (Lisa) Bogue of Rancho Mirage, California, Joe (Kelley) Osmon of Georgetown, Kentucky, and Jay (Maggie) Osmon of Monte Vista, Colorado, daughter, Kristin (J.J.) Latousek, Kirkland, Washington; and 12 grandchildren. Budd was preceded in death by three sisters, and one brother, Dick Osmon, whom he was particularly close to.
