Carlos A. Archuleta, 32

Carlos A. Archuleta, 32, of Monte Vista died on Tuesday, February 6, 2018.  He was born on June 24, 1985 to Tina Sisneros and Rueben Archuleta.

Carlos is preceded in death by his Grandmother Flora Archuleta, Grandfather Adonis Archuleta, and his uncle Geno Romero.

Carlos is survived by his mother, Tina Sisneros, and father Joe Sisneros of Monte Vista.  His sister, Gina Bousquet (Archuleta) of Monte Vista.  His niece, Faith Bousquet and nephew, Christian Bousquet of Monte Vista.  Samuel Bousquet of Alamosa.  His half Sister Aaliyah Archuleta of Monte Vista.  His grandmother, Casilda Armenta of Del Norte.  As well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.

Carlos is best known by his childhood nickname, Mojito.  He enjoyed spending his time around his family, friends, playing with his niece and nephew, having BBQ’s, fishing, and camping.  He was a huge Denver Broncos fan and always committed his Sundays to watching each and every game.  Carlos loved having conversations with his mother Tina and his sister Gina.  No matter what was going on he made sure to have time for them as well as his niece and nephew.  He loved being around his father, Joe, and making or restoring things, it was one of his favorite past times.  Carlos will be very much missed by everyone who knew him.

Cremation has been chosen and entrusted to Rogers Family Mortuary of Monte Vista.  A Recitation of the Rosary will be held at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Del Norte on Friday, February 16, at 7:00 P.M.  A memorial mass will also be held at Holy Name if Mary Catholic Church on Saturday, February 17 at 10:00 A.M.  Inurnment will take place following services at the Del Norte Cemetery.
