Originally From Antonito, Colo., Debbie Casias, 62, passed away on Dec. 9, 2022, in Florida.
Debbie was born in GIlman, Colo., June 3, 1960., to Margarito and Juanita Martinez.
Debbie was a very social, fun, and outgoing person. She was retired and had moved to Palm Bay, Fla., to enjoy the sunshine and warmth while walking at the beach. Her hobbies were doing puzzles, gardening, meeting new people and traveling in the motor home with her husband Sal. She loved her cat Jingles and dog Logan. Debbie's most favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandson Zacarias and with her husband and family.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 43 years, Francisco Salvador Casias of Florida, her grandson Zacarias Fransisco Casias, God daughter Janel Martinez, Alicia Casias who she claimed as a daughter. Her brother Lucas Martinez (Della), and sisters, Evelyn Trujillo (Bobby), Lorene Quintana (J.C.), Brenda DeHerrera (Andrew), and Lisa Mendez.
She was preceded in death by her son's Francisco Casias and Lucas Casias, her parents Margarito and Juanita Martinez, her brothers Jessie Martinez, Peter Martinez, Joseph Martinez, sisters Janet DeHerrera, Loyda Flores and Frances Lindsay.
Cremation was chosen and Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.
