Alamosa resident Delfino George Maestas, 54, entered into eternal life on July 26, 2018 at Sangre De Cristo Hospice House in Pueblo with his loving family by his side. Delfino was born on August 20, 1963. He worked for the Department of Social Services for many years where he met and helped many people of this community. Delfino loved to sing gospel songs, and loved to make people laugh. He was a friend to all and he will be dearly missed.
Delfino is survived by his son Gilbert Maestas, grandson Xavier Delfino James Maestas, mother Margie Maestas, sisters Judy Maestas (David Goldberg), Geraldine (David) Elliott, Debra (Robert) Espinoza, Margie (Michael) McIntyre, Cindy (Fidel) Sandoval, and brother David (Eva) Maestas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Delfino was preceded in death by his father Jose Maestas and brother Gilbert Maestas. A Memorial Service will be held at Church of God on August 11, 2018 beginning at 2:00PM.
