SAN LUIS — Dolores Vialpando, 94, went home to be with the Lord on April 15, 2020, at the Life Care Center of Pueblo with Jesus by her side. Dolores came into the world on June 29, 1925, in Ft. Collins, CO the daughter of Samuel Bernal and Aurelia Maestas Bernal
Dolores was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who enjoyed sewing, reading the bible, crocheting and spending all the time she could with her family.
Survivors include her daughters Judy, (Abel) Bennett of Pueblo West, CO; Margie Hernandez of San Luis, CO; two sisters Josie (Belarmino) Arellano and Betty (Tony) Gallegos of Alamosa, CO; brother Ernest (Maria) Bernal of Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by grandchildren and many great-grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Aurelia Bernal; husband Willie Vialpando; sisters Stella, Jennie, Martha; brother Alfonso; son-in-law Humberto (Bear) and grandson Jeremiah.
