ALAMOSA — Donald was born Nov. 28, 1981 at the Alamosa Hospital and joined his grandmother and grandfather Gloria and Philemon Montoya, his grandma Grace Medina and his great-grandma Aggie on July 24 2019.

Donald was a loving son, brother and father. He had three beautiful children (Landen Montoya, Ethan Montoya and Preston Montoya)

Donald received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in the latter days of his life.

Donald was very successful with his life obtaining a college degree and working as a nurse. He was a very outgoing person and loved family, friends and most importantly his three beautiful children. You would always hear Donald singing every time you were around him and he would never allow you to play music without putting on Dolly Parton.

Donald is survived by his parents, Donald and Grace Montoya and his two brothers Darren and Desmond Montoya and his sister-in-law Delarena Montoya, his grandpa Romas Medina and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Service will be at the River of Life Church on Saturday Aug. 3, at 10 a.m. located at 2602 Clark Street in Alamosa.
