Dorothy A. Jones went to be with the Lord and her loved ones on April 25, 2018 at her home in Alamosa, CO, where she lived with her son Craig and daughter in law Trish. Dorothy was born July 25, 1928 in Little Rock Arkansas to James and Minnie Pearl Hunter.

She met and married her husband of 71 years (Bob) in Alamosa on March 10, 1945 and lived most of her life in Monte Vista. Dorothy was a loving mother to 5 children, grandmother to 11, and great-grandmother to 16 and great great- grandmother to 2. She will be missed by all of her family.

Besides her love for her family she loved her flowers and gardens. Dorothy was the 4th of 7 children.

She is survived by her daughters Jerry Dodd of Monte Vista CO; Carol Jones of Center; CO; Connie (Dan) Coleman of Gillett WY; sons Rocky (Clare) Jones of McAllen TX; Craig (Trish) Jones of Alamosa CO.

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings and husband.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 21, 2018 at the Jones Family Cabin starting at 10:00 a.m. this will be an all day long, so drop by for a potluck event.
